As a fashion photographer in Portland, I have found there are certain realms of photography in the fashion industry here. You have athletic wear, outdoor attire, and then you have sustainable fashion. Clothing sourced so carefully and specifically and given a new life in the many vintage shops around Portland. Or clothing created ethically and sustainably with our earth in mind as well as the hands who craft these beautiful pieces. This is where I have found my place in the fashion industry. Being a sustainable fashion photographer, as someone who shops for vintage tees like it’s their job, just makes so much sense to me.

The work I share is a part of me and I want to make sure that what I am putting out into the world is a reflection of my heart and what I support when it comes to fashion. It is easy to get caught up in the numbers of it all with fashion photography, but sustainability is crucial when it comes to the future of our planet. As a Portland fashion photographer I want to be an advocate for the brands I work with. I want to believe and stand behind their truths and values as a fashion brand.
